Steps / Schritte · Support

Quiet steps, counted on your iPhone.

Steps: Daily Motion is a simple step counter for iPhone, with a weekly overview, recorded walks and a quiet walking timer. It reads the phone’s system pedometer on the device and gives the flower a gentle response to touch and motion.

Help

If Steps shows a dash or says that step access is unavailable, open Settings → Privacy & Security → Motion & Fitness and allow Steps. Then return to the app and try again. The app does not make up a number when access is unavailable.

Walks, goals and walking pauses

Open Paths to see your local map. Allow Location Services while using the app and Precise Location to record an accurate route. Tap Start walking to begin, then pause, resume or finish as needed. The archive holds your saved walks; deleting a walk also removes it from the discovery map. Recording can continue with the screen locked. If iOS terminates the app, reopen it and resume explicitly. Map loading needs a network connection.

Change your daily goal, sounds and haptics in Settings. Turn the outer ring in A little time to choose a walking pause from 1 to 120 minutes. The timer keeps time when the screen is locked but does not sound an alarm.

Steps requires a device that supports Apple’s step-counting sensor. It does not read Apple Health or Apple Watch totals. A newly installed app may need a few steps before the system provides a value.

Hilfe
