Steps: Daily Motion / Schritte: Dein Rhythmus
Steps: Daily Motion and Schritte: Dein Rhythmus are designed to work locally on your iPhone. The app does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data with a developer server. It has no account, advertising, analytics, cloud sync, in-app purchase, or third-party SDK.
- Step counts come from Apple’s on-device
CMPedometer. - Motion sensors are used on-device for the flower’s tilt, light, and movement response.
- Quiet interface clicks and ambient audio are generated and played locally through Apple’s audio session.
- Your daily goal, feedback preferences, step history and recorded walks are stored locally with the app.
- With your permission, location shows your surroundings on the map. A route is saved only after you start a walk. Active recording continues while the screen is locked and stops when you pause or finish. After the app is terminated, a walk must be resumed explicitly.
- Apple MapKit loads map data over the network. Apple processes requests to provide its Maps service under Apple’s Maps privacy information. Steps does not send your step history or saved walks to a developer server.
- Steps does not use HealthKit or the camera.
Apple shows system permission controls for Motion & Fitness and Location Services. You can change these in iOS Settings. Location is optional for counting steps. Delete individual walks in the archive; deleting the app removes its local data. Device backups, if enabled in iOS, are managed by Apple and your system settings. Sharing your weekly summary is optional and uses the destination you select in the iOS share sheet.
Website
damianwitkowski.com does not run advertising or analytics scripts. The hosting infrastructure may process standard technical request data such as an IP address, time, requested path, and user agent to deliver and secure the website. This is website hosting data, separate from the Steps app, and is governed by the host’s operational retention and security practices.
The portfolio contact link opens your own mail app. If you email Damian, the contents of that email are processed by the mail services used by you and Damian to respond to the request.

Datenschutz der iPhone-App
Schritte: Dein Rhythmus arbeitet lokal auf deinem iPhone. Die App erhebt, überträgt, verkauft oder teilt keine personenbezogenen Daten mit einem Entwickler-Server. Es gibt kein Konto, keine Werbung, keine Analyse, keine Cloud-Synchronisierung, keine In-App-Käufe und kein Third-Party-SDK.
- Schritte kommen vom On-Device-Schrittzähler Apple
CMPedometer. - Bewegungssensoren steuern die Reaktion der Blüte lokal auf dem Gerät.
- Leise UI-Klicks und atmosphärisches Audio werden lokal erzeugt und über Apples Audiositzung abgespielt.
- Tagesziel, Feedback-Einstellungen, Schrittverlauf und aufgezeichnete Wege werden lokal in der App gespeichert.
- Mit deiner Erlaubnis zeigt dein Standort die Umgebung auf der Karte. Ein Weg wird erst gespeichert, wenn du die Aufzeichnung startest. Sie läuft auch bei gesperrtem Bildschirm und endet beim Pausieren oder Abschließen. Nach dem Beenden der App musst du den Weg ausdrücklich fortsetzen.
- Apple MapKit lädt Kartendaten über das Netzwerk. Apple verarbeitet Kartenanfragen nach den Datenschutzhinweisen für Apple Karten. Schritte sendet deinen Schrittverlauf und gespeicherte Wege nicht an einen Entwickler-Server.
- Schritte verwendet weder HealthKit noch die Kamera.
Die Berechtigungen für Bewegung & Fitness und Ortungsdienste kannst du jederzeit in den iOS-Einstellungen ändern. Zum Schrittzählen ist kein Standortzugriff nötig. Einzelne Wege kannst du im Archiv löschen. Beim Löschen der App werden ihre lokalen Daten entfernt. Geräte-Backups verwaltet Apple entsprechend deinen Systemeinstellungen. Eine Wochenübersicht teilst du nur auf eigene Initiative über das iOS-Teilen-Menü.

damianwitkowski.com verwendet keine Werbe- oder Analyse-Skripte. Die Hosting-Infrastruktur kann technische Standarddaten wie IP-Adresse, Zeitpunkt, angeforderten Pfad und User-Agent zur Auslieferung und Absicherung der Website verarbeiten. Diese Hosting-Daten sind von der Schritte-App getrennt.
